IQAC organized a Faculty Development Programme on 14-06-2017 on the topic “Curricular Issues in Higher Education” for the faculty members. The resource person was Dr.S.Selvam,National Professor of Eminence, IIT, New Delhi. In the session he discussed the problems in the curriculum. He suggested to the faculty members that rather than blaming the curriculum, what best can be done to contribute the society should be emphasized. He discussed elaborately about the challenges, uncertainties and priorities while trying to scale the peak
Faculty Development Programme on “Parenting the NEX GEN”
IQAC arranged for a Faculty Development Programme on 15-06-2017. Mrs.G.V.Shoba , Advocate, High Court Madras was the resource person. She discussed about balancing life and the stress of students. She also gave suggestions to handle the problems faced by nex gen and molding them. She insisted faculty members to talk more good things to the students. She explained the facts in parenting by narrating the real incidents. She motivated the faculty members to enjoy parenting and teacherhood.
NET/ SET Training for Faculty members
IQAC organized four days NET/SET Training Programmefor the faculty members. The NET/ SET qualified faculty members trained other faculty members. The General Paper and the Subject Papers were discussed and the methodology to be followed for finding the solution was also discussed.

The research committee of our institution attended the workshop on “Framing Research Proposal” on 23-10-2017.The resource person was Dr.S.Selvam,National Professor of Eminence, IIT, New Delhi.

IQAC in association with Department of Commerce organized one day workshop on 31-01-2015 on the topic “Application of Statistical tools by using SPSS” for Research Scholars and the Faculty members. The Resource Person was Mr.J.Poovaraghavan, Assistant Professor, Department of Maths, D.B.Jain College, Chennai. Many Faculty members and Research Scholars from various Institutions were attended and benefited.

IQAC organized a Faculty Development Programme on “Application of NLP on Teaching Learning Process” on 30-01-2016. The resource person to the programme was Mr.John A. Joseph, NLP Trainer/Coach/ Counselor. In the session he introduced the NLP concept and explained about various NLP Tools and its significance in Teaching process. He insisted us to reframe the teaching methodology according to the current situation. He advised us to create rapport with the students to enhance teaching – learning process. To provoke the thinking ability of the students he pinpointed various methods..
