A batch of final year BSC CS & BCA Students visited the RETECH SOLUTIONS, Varatharajapuram, Kundrathur, Tambaram, Chennai on 03-08-2023. This visit was mainly focused on to understand the working process of the Laser cutting machine “PLOTBOT”. The technical team explained about the software used to design the product PLOTBOT and its implementation .They also demonstrated practically on how the cutting should be done on different materials .Students are enlightened about the technical aspects and working culture of the IT industry.
A team of third-year BA English students visited HAP HATSUN AGRO PRODUCT LIMITED, kancheepuram on 16.08.2023. This visit’s major goal was to better understand how milk and curd are made. The management team gave a presentation on the many product categories, milk collection, processing, packing, and distribution. They also discussed the numerous clinical exams required to uphold their standing and level of excellence. Students are made aware of how carefully and hygienically products are made.
The students of IIIrd B.Sc Chemistry went for a one day industrial visit to salavakkam PURE PETROCHEMICALS Ltd on 13th September 2023. The students were explained about the process involved in the preparation of engine oil and grease followed by the analytical techniques used in the processing and quality control of the grease and oil. The students gained a valuable knowledge about chemistry of grease and blended oil.
