Equal Opportunity Committee

The Equal Opportunity Cell works to ensure that students and staff from disadvantaged or marginalized groups, such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), minorities, persons with disabilities and women are provided equal access to education, employment and institutional facilities.

Objectives of the Equal Opportunity Cell

  • To ensure equal opportunities in admission, employment, and academic activities
  • To prevent discrimination or harassment on the basis of caste, gender, religion, disability, or economic background
  • To create awareness about constitutional rights, government policies, and welfare schemes
  • To support socially and economically disadvantaged students through guidance and counselling
  • To promote an inclusive and respectful campus environment
