The Department of Chemistry organized a forum on “GREEN CHEMISTRY” and “CAREER CHOICES IN CHEMISTRY” on 27th September 2018. Dr. S. KUTTI RANI-Professor & Dean (SP &CS), B.S Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology and Dr. K. SIVA KUMAR-Professor & Head, Department of Chemistry, SCSVMV University were the Chief Guests. She gave an informative speech on “Green Chemistry” about the pollution prevention on environment and production of non-hazardous chemicals using green chemistry methodologies. He delivered his speech on “Career Choices in Chemistry” which provide knowledge and guideline for the students about various job opportunities after completing their degree.
