Anti -Ragging Committee is constituted in VSWC to prevent ragging and to take anti-ragging measures as per the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court of India and UGC. An Anti-Ragging Committee is formed and has been actively functioning to address the issue concerning ragging.

VSWC campus is ragging free, still all measures have been taken to ensure that the fresher are able to pursue their studies without getting teased or insulted in any way by the seniors.

Aim

To build a ragging free environment by instilling the principles of tolerance, empathy and compassion so that students become responsible citizens.

Objectives

• To ensure overall disciplined environment in the College.
• To initiate timely action against erring students.
• To sensitize students about the evils of ragging and its prevention in the College.
• To create awareness among the students about the consequences of ragging.
• To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
• To promptly and severely deal with the incidents of ragging brought to our notice.

Thus any complaints, as defined above verbal or digital shall be recorded, immediately on receipt of any complaints, the committee concerned shall meet and resolve the complaints.
