Place of visit: HAND IN HAND ACADEMY

This report summarizes the industrial visits undertaken by students of 3rd BBA and BA English on October 4, 2024. The visits were organized in collaboration with Hand in Hand Academy, Kaliyanur, Kanchipuram. The primary objective of these visits was to provide students with practical exposure to the corporate world and social entrepreneurship.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT
The program schedule included four sessions. Dr. Y. Joe, Head of HIH Academy, provided an overview of the organization’s mission and initiatives in transforming lives. Mr. Ganeshkumar S, Faculty cum Trainer, discussed the growth and opportunities in the microfinance sector. Mr. Yeshaswi Nag N, Assistant General Manager – New Initiatives, emphasized the importance of developing an entrepreneurial mindset. Mr. Gowsikrajan V, Faculty at HIH Academy, conducted a practical session on software skills.
OUTCOME OF THE VISIT
The students were generally positive about the industrial visits. They appreciated the opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain firsthand knowledge of the corporate world. The visits provided valuable practical exposure to the industry and its challenges. The interaction with industry professionals helped students build their professional networks.
