CANCER AWARENESS RESEARCH

Brief Description of the Project:

A rumor is a social cancer. It is difficult to contain and its rote the brains of the masses. The real danger is that so many people find rumors enjoyable that part causes infection and in such cases when rumor is only partially made truth. It is difficult to pinpoint exactly where the information may have gone wrong. It is passed on and on until some brave soul questions his validity. The ignorance is to be valued more than the lie believed to be true. So as in the case of cancer also, ignorance of the primary symptoms of cancer, will lead to the aggravation of the situation. Our prime aim is to make awareness of cancer symptoms and their treatment facilities available and to conduct a campaign for the donation of hair to the chemotherapy patients.

Objectives:

• Evaluation Of Stratified Cancer Education Program Based on Local needs.
• Transfer of Cancer Information is easily understandable terminology in Local Languages.
• Conducting Educational Program all Year around.
• To be part of ” Protect Your Mom Campaign” By Dr.Premimathew and also conducting Hair Donation for the Cancer Patients, “Hair for Hope” Campaign.
• To understand about the process carcinogenesis and genetic susceptibility.
• Creating awareness of different types of cancer/ precautionary measures to be taken, awareness of medical facilities available.
